The city of Stockholm

As the capital of Sweden, Stockholm sits on the east coast of the country between Lake Malaren and the Baltic Sea. The biggest tourist attraction in Stockholm is the city itself. As a city, it is both smart and trendy and has much to offer visitors. The Old Town (Gamla Stan) forms the city's historical centre comprising such architectural delights as the Royal Palace and the Swedish Parliament. Arlanda is the main International airport in Stockholm, lying 40km north of the city. Transfers can be arranged directly from the airport to the city and surrounding towns like Enskede, Spanga and Taby.
