The city of Stockholm

As the capital of Sweden, Stockholm sits on the east coast of the country between Lake Malaren and the Baltic Sea. The biggest tourist attraction in Stockholm is the city itself. As a city, it is both smart and trendy and has much to offer visitors. The Old Town (Gamla Stan) forms the city's historical centre comprising such architectural delights as the Royal Palace and the Swedish Parliament. Vasteras airport is situated 100km west of the city and deals with many flights from London Stansted and Dublin. Transfers easily organised to Bromma, Kista and Solna.
