Playa de Palma is a 6 kilometre long stretch of coast running from C'an Pastilla, around the Bay of Palma, to El Arenal in Majorca. There is a wide promenade affording excellent views over the ocean which is perfect for a gentle stroll, or if you prefer not to walk you can hop on the cute little train which runs throughout the day.

The beach is a huge expanse of golden sand dotted with pretty balnearios or beach huts, and is the ideal place to soak up the sun. If you get too hot you can cool off by taking a dip in the sparkling azure waters or trying one of the exciting watersports on offer. Sports enthusiasts can rent a bike or lace up their hiking boots and explore the surrounding mountainous landscape.

If you fancy a bit of culture you can travel the short distance into the city of Palma where there are a host of interesting sights in the historic old town, as well as exhibitions, plays, ballets and more. In the evenings Playa de Palma offers a vibrant nightlife with restaurants, bars and nightclubs to satisfy even the most demanding party goer.
