Ovda is the gateway to Eilat in the south of Israel and other resorts on the Red Sea in neighbouring Egypt, like Taba and Aqaba. One of the natural attractions of the region is the magical Timna Park. In this barren landscape, centuries of wind and rain have sculpted the sandstone rocks into surreal formations. The 10,000-acre Hai-Bar Nature Reserve is also worth exploring, and is home to desert fauna including ostriches, hyena and antelopes. But of course it's the Red Sea that's the main draw card and there are beaches aplenty from which to choose. Eilat is also the site of the magnificent Coral Beach Reserve, which is a diving and snorkelling haven for people of all skill levels.
Will the driver wait for us to get through customs if we are delayed? Once your flight has landed our drivers will normally wait around an hour before making enquiries with the airline or immigration staff. If there is still no sign of the passenger after these enquiries the driver will leave. You will have the telephone number of your driver on your voucher, so if you are delayed in immigration or customs you can call them to ensure they know to wait. If you know in advance that you may be quick getting through (if you're only travelling with hand luggage, for instance), or that you may take longer than normal (reduced mobility etc.) please let at know at the time of your service request.

This is something that we strongly recommend to avoid any problems to any other customers of your agency :-)

Then the shuttle across the border wasn't there, had to call number provided, it came 25mins, the rep insisted I gave him $ 30 To cross into Egypt , I said I can pay , which was 120 Egyptian pounds each . Apart from that it was an interesting crossing . Ah! One more thing, I didn't realise that we stopped at 6 hotels drop before we were taken to the Taba border.
