The small and picturesque village of Soll in Austria is located at a height of 703 metres between the well known famous Wilder Kaiser and Hohe Salve mountains. It offers a rich cultural heritage and attractive architecture, and is nestled in a sunny valley, protected from chilly alpine winds, at the heart of a gently beautiful alpine landscape.
The ski area is a firm favourite with beginners and intermediates who enjoy cruising down the wide rolling pistes. Whilst it is situated at a fairly low altitude the resort has invested in excellent snow making facilities, and therefore guarantees good coverage throughout the winter season.
It has easy access to Austrias largest linked area, the vast Ski Welt, which boasts 250 kilometres of groomed pistes. Families will enjoy the combination of relaxed skiing and the small village atmosphere, whilst young people and those on the lookout for fun will love the surprisingly well-developed apres ski entertainments for a village of this size.
With Salzburg Airport only 1 hour 55 minutes away by airport shuttle or airport taxi and Munich also nearby, why not take a flying visit and see it for yourself.

Shared transport, arrived on time. The driver was very professional: checked that everybody had seatbelts on, drove carefully, distributed everybody to the right terminals at the airport. Excellent value for money, no problems whatsoever.
It can be difficult choosing a resort if you’re planning a ski holiday with a group of people who all have different skill levels and different budgets. However, if the one thing you all have in common is a love of après ski, then Söll is definitely the place for you.

The Austrian ski area known as ‘Ski Welt’ connects the villages of Söll, Scheffau, Ellmau, Westendorf, Hopfgarten, Brixen and Going to create the country’s largest interconnected ski zone. In total it consists of almost 280km of pistes which are served by an advanced network of cable cars and ski lifts. The area is particularly well known within the skiing community for its sociable atmosphere thanks to the widespread presence of Alpine-style huts and many lively ski bars which are easily accessible from all the villages which make up the SkiWelt area...
