The lovely Turkish resort of Fethiye is most celebrated for its beautiful location, on a wide crescent-shaped bay with islands rising from the azure waters. There is a wealth of pastimes here, with a bustling marina to explore and numerous interesting historical sites such as the knights of Rhodes fortress perched on a hill above the town.
The area is also celebrated for its intricately carved Lycian rock tombs, dug into the cliff faces themselves, and the amazing Sarcopaghi and Fethiye Tower. The surrounding countryside offers some notable ancient Lycian cities like Letoon, where you can visit the remains of temples dedicated to Leto, Artemis and Apollo. Similarly, the Gemiler Islands will not fail to capture your imagination, with their Byzantine ruins hidden amongst towering pine trees.
After all this sightseeing, you will be keen to relax and enjoy the many stunning beaches in this sundrenched area. Take your pick from the idyllic beach at Sovalye Island or Belcegiz Bay with its dramatic mountainous backdrop, blue lagoon, and 3kms of natural beach to lounge upon, earning it the name a paradise that God granted to Earth.
Alternatively, the lovely Koturumsu can only be reached by boat and offers its own version of paradise with waterfalls flowing into deep valleys, the air dancing with butterflies, and thick pine forest growing right down to the edge of a golden beach.
Airport transfers and airport shuttles from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye city centre are only 65 kilometers or 50 minutes, and Antalya Airport is also nearby, making it the ideal choice for a summer break. A small wait for people to arrive, but nothing to complain about. Very good driving and very nice shuttle, very good service. Picked us up twenty minutes late to go back to airport but again it was nothing to complain about. Very good price. I will continue to use them and also recommend.
