One of the city’s most beloved historical figures is Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. His contribution to writing and academia is memorialised in Goethe House, his family home. It has been restored as a museum, and there are several impressive statues of him around the city. Among the many sights to see is Frankfurt Cathedral, an impressive Gothic church that was built in the 15th century. Frankfurt Zoo has over 4500 animals from all over the world in the heart of the city. For a bird’s eye view of the city, why not take it all in from the top of the Main Tower, a 650-foot high building that is open to the public? Or get back down to street level and explore the cider taverns that create Apfelwein, a cider that is famous in the region.
Why does my credit card keep getting rejected? Double check that you’ve entered a valid card number. Most of the time it’s just a case of a simple typo. If your credit card booking is still not going through, then you may have to check with your bank whether you’re allowed to make internet bookings on your card. If your bank has declined to authorise your payment, you should contact them. We accept bookings from the following major credit card companies - American Express, Visa, Visa Delta, Master Card, Diners and JCB. We do not accept debit cards.
Initially thought pricing was in euros or usd, not British pounds. Strange that emailed confirmation notice came from different company rather than shuttledirect brand. As a first time user, this made me nervous.
It took about 20 minutes to locate the driver since he was at 'B' exit and we were at 'A'. Once we connected with driver, experience was excellent. In fact, two days latter, the receptionist at the hotel gave us the hat my daughter had accidentally left in the car. The driver had evidently found it and stopped by the hotel to drop it off. That goes above and beyond. Thanks very much.
