Ms P from United KingdomThe only problem is getting in touch with the transfer company to arrange a pick-up. Phoning a local number in e.g. Turkey is horrendously expensive and in any case the numbers provided by Shuttle Direct produced no response at all, and neither did emailing them. There needs to be some back-up scheme for this situation - perhaps a whatsapp to Shuttle Direct, or even a quick-response email (NOT a 48 hour one). One cannot always rely on a helpful hotelier to sort out the problem.
But see my comments above - there MUST be a more efficient way to arrange pick-up times. Why can't this be done when we first book?

We had booked a shared shuttle but on both journeys we had a vehicle to ourselves. The driver was waiting for us in arrivals and took us to our hotel. For the return journey I had to ring a local company Turgutreis tours to arrange a time. The lady I spoke to was friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The driver was a little later than arranged but still got us to the airport in plenty time.

On return pick up- was faultless / excellent. If it wasn't for the arrival incident, I would have given excellent as overall score for service.

Fabulous at the airport end of the journey but around 30 minutes late at the hotel end. I understand 'Turkish time' is slower and happens when it happens but this can be a little unsettling when there is a flight involved!
