Driver spoke English and was happy to chat. Very inexpensive cost. Sometimes taxi drivers go extremely fast but I’ve found Shuttle Direct drivers excellent in Madeira. Only me in transfer which was good after one hour and 45 minute plane delay, luggage took forever as carousel jammed with all the unclaimed cases so other cases couldn’t get on, Covid negative on arrival was quick and straightforward but I counted 368 waiting for test!! I have used Shuttle Direct many times and I’ve always been very happy with service, driver and vechicle. Highly recommend
