The transport itself was very good but the drop off at the airport for the return journey was far too early. It is annoying to waste an hour or more particularly when you can't even check the luggage in. This always happens south this company.

The driver drove past the road end to Patara. Had I not been there before, I would not have known this and we would have carried on to the resort destination of the other passengers, at least an hour away.
He then first took me to the wrong hotel until I showed him my copy of the booking for,

I was on the same flight and in the same hotel, but you put us on different transfers. No explanation given.
Mr M from United KingdomI arrived at the Domestıc termınal from Istanbul - you knew thıs as İ had booked wıth flight details - but the driver was waitıng at the International Terminal ! Even though they are only a short walk I dıd not know thıs. Half an hour later after a very long day soımebody called for me and then they came . This ıs a very very poor system

Although the transfer itself was fairly uneventful, it was at the end of the trasfer that things took on a particularly disastrous aspect. Although I had booked to go directly to the village of Patara (as recommended by my friend who has travelled with you on several occasions to the same location), the driver insisted that I disembark at a different hotel in a different city which was 30 minutes away from my destination - this in the middle of the night in a foreign country which was pretty scary stuff! When the reception staff at the first hotel were very helpful and insisted that the driver take me to my destination, the driver was clearly very agitated and was more than reluctant to drive the 'extra' mileage to what was my legitimate destination. A lengthy and complicated set of phone calls and texts with my friend and a Turkish speaker resulted in my being transferred to a completely different taxi and my eventual arrival at my destination several hours later than planned. The most disconcerting thing about this resolution was that I was not really told what was happening - instead only feeling the wrath of the driver. When my friend has subsequently tried to complain to Shuttledirect by both e-mail and telephone they have been completely dismissive. Given that he has recommended the service to more than 20 people arriving in September, and up to 120 people next year, he is more than a bit worried about how smoothly future transfers will be. He is seriously considering making alternative arrangements if my experience is in any way reflective of the more general pattern.
