It is not my responsibility to hurry up because the driver did not want to wait for the taxi to leave. There was a lack of patience displayed by the driver when he expected me to resolve the issue by moving faster.

As I explained, it is not Shuttle Direct I would blame, it is the company they hire.
This is the second time I have used Shuttle Direct, and both times I was sitting in the coach for 40 minutes.before the driver started to move me 1 mile down the road. Sorry, Its a TAXI for me in future.

On the day of my departure to the Airport in Lanzarote, I had not been contacted with a pickup time by the contract company on behalf of Shuttle Direct, so, I rang the number provided on my booking form, I did not expect to be treated in such a abrupt manner. I was totally shocked when told in no uncertain terms that it was my responsibility to contact them again and they would give me a pickup time. I finally traveled by taxi at my own expense. I will not be using Shuttle Direct again. Shuttle Direct themselves seem to be OK. the problem seems to be with the company they hire to do their work for them is the problem.When we arrived at Lanzarote Airport we were sitting in the bus for 40 minutes before we took off to our hotel. This is the second time that has happened to us. My advice to other users is ...TAKE A TAXI.
